Jillian's 2nd Birthday!

Jillian celebrated her 2nd birthday on June 19th (same day as her uncle Josh). Our family was still here so that was neat to have them here for her birthday. She is really into princesses and she still likes Elmo. So I decided that I would do an Elmo cake because I'm sure she will be in the princess phase for a while, so that cake can wait until next year. About two weeks before her birthday, we started seeing the terrible twos appear and it came out of nowhere. She has always had an anger issues but it was mostly with toys and small children. But now it is with everyone. And she has major space issues. You can't touch her, say her name, or even look at her with out making her mad. When she mad she squeals, it almost sounds like a tiger getting torchered and she will throw herself down and make a big scene. So anyways when we sang Happy Birthday that made her mad and she wouldn't blow out her candles. If we laughed at anything she did...that would make her mad. And then she got a hat from the Gibson's and she loves it and wears it all the time, but it got knocked off and that made her mad. After she opened her presents we tried again on blowing out the candles and she finally did it. But if any one touched anything of hers it was all over. Mema got her a number two pinata and she cried when I tried to get her to hit it. Everyone got to take a hit and Rich finally got it open. There was lots of candy and toys for everyone. When our family was here, we took them to the best beach we have in our area. It is called the Bathtub Beach. Because of the reef about 50 yards out, it stops the waves and makes the water calm and clear. We took them snorkeling and they loved it. Bob and Abigale would disappear every time we went and would be gone for hours. They found lots of good shells to take back home. We had a great time and the kids love it because there is no waves and it usually doesn't get deep. But everyone did get burned especially the ones that were snorkeling a lot because their backs were exposed. But at least the they went home with a tan!

On the Farm in Missouri!

When we were in Missouri, the kids really liked the animals on dad's farm. He has cows, a horse, a goat, chickens and hens, baby chicks, two bunnies, and two dogs. Jillie really likes the chickens and Dallin likes driving the tractor. He got to help papa move hay bails and drove the tractor all by himself. He also got the eggs out of the chicken pens everyday. Hubby Tag!

1-What's her husband's full name? Richard Jeffrey Stoddard. I mostly call him Rich unless he's trouble, then I call him Richard.

2-How long have the two of you been together? Six Years in May.

3-How long did you date? Two and half months.

4-Who eats more? He does. He is like a puppy that never stops eating. He usually only eats like that on the weekends and it's so annoying because he eats until he gets sick and then he doesn't want to do anything.

5-Who said, "I love you, first?" He told me that he liked me first, but I think I said that I love you, but I'm not sure. I do remember where we were. We were on the temple grounds having a picnic.

6-Who is taller? He is. I'm 5'7" and he is 5'10".

7-Who sings better? - He is. I don't know how to sing but he is pretty good. He use to sing to me. He would sing the Beatles or frank Sinatra!

8-Who is smarter? Me mostly there are a few things that Rich is smarter at.

9-Who does the laundry? I do it mostly, Rich has been known to put a load in the washer or dryer, but he never folds or puts away any laundry.

10-Who does the dishes? I do mostly, but again Rich does do them every once and awhile.

11-Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do because, I'm the one who gets up to help the kids and I would be the one to have to take on an intruder, I think Rich would freeze up but I could be wrong.

12-Who pays the bills? I do. He always tell everyone that he hands his checks right to me.

13-Who mows the lawn? Jose, our lawn guy. But we do mow his mom's lawn. And we both do it together. I mow and he will weed whack. We really like working together doing lawn work.

14-Who cooks dinner? I do, but sometimes Rich will put a frozen pizza in the oven.

15-Who drives when you are together? He always does, rarely do I drive if we ride together. Even on long trips, I have to beg to drive.

16-Who is more stubborn? Me, but Rich has his moments also.

17-Who kissed who first? This one is a battle. Rich says it was me and that I sucked hes face off but I remember he was the more aggressive one in the kissing department. But I remember our first little peck was both of us. It was like gravity pulling us together.

18-Who asked who out first? Rich. He had dropped me off after we had went out with the Young Single Adult activity and then ten minutes later he was knocking on my door. When I opened the door, I thought he was physically sick. He was pale and didn't look good. Come to find out he was in his car trying to get up the never to tell me he liked me and he wanted to ask me out.

19-Who proposed? Well, we knew we were getting married, we had everything planned, but he hadn't officially asked me. So, one day we went to the beach and he had brought a picnic basket with cheese,crackers, grapes, and grape juice in a wine bottle. It was very romantic and then he told me to look in the sky at an airplane. Behind the airplane was a sign that said "Allissa will you marry me Love Rich.(yes, they did spell my name wrong) I said yes and then we started making out while his family was hiding in the bushes!!

20-Who is more sensitive? I guess, I would have to say me but even I'm really not that sensitive.

21-Who has more friends? I do, Rich isn't very social.

22-Who has more siblings? We are the same. Rich has two brothers and a sister and I have two brothers and a step sister.

23-Who wears the pants in the family? I would have to agree with Abby on this one. We are a partnership also. We pretty much work together and agree on almost everything.

We got to spend a couple of days down in Key West. The drive was beautiful and long. We got to do some shopping on Duval Street and eat. We tried chocolate keylime pie on a stick. It was pretty good but I dropped half of mine on the ground. We went to Smathers Beach which is a beautiful beach most of the time but it wasn't so great the day we went. There were lots of beautiful beaches along the way, so someday I think we will go back and try some of the other beaches. I was suprised that we didn't see that many weirdos down there, but it wasn't in season either!

Richard had a $7 turkey leg and ate it all by himself and then he started thinking he was going to get sick because the meat had probably been sitting there all day.

Dallin and Jillie really needed some time to get out of the strollers and run around and play and Ariel's Grotto was a perfect place. Water is shooting out of the ground getting them all wet. They loved it! Rich and all the kids at the house we stayed at in Orlando. We had a great time at Disney World. We were there from 9:00 a.m until 7:30 p.m. We would have liked to stayed for the parade and fireworks but we were all too tired. You definitely can't do Disney in one day. We did get to ride all the rides that we wanted to like Splash Mountain and the Haunted Mansion.
