My Ten Year Class Reunion!

My ten year class reunion was on June 14th at my high school in Granby Missouri. We had about 25 alumni show up with their family. We had some finger foods in the cafeteria and got to check up on everyone. Crystal and I lived the most far from our old school with Crystal in Utah and me in Florida. It was fun to get to see everyone and their children. Later that night, we went to a restaruant/bar in Joplin to eat and everyone besides Crystal and I was drinking, but we still had a good time. We left before the band started so we could get our money back for the cover charge and get home to get our kids in bed. I guess after we left everyone started dancing and had a good time. We all decided to get together in five years for a 15 year reunion! This is some of the girls that came, we were all good friends! This was later that night on the deck of the bar.

My BFF's Since 3rd Grade!

Crystal & Hannah (5), Jenny, April & Ava(17 days), Me, Jillie(soon to be 2), & Dallin(4), Heidi and Triston(4) These girls are my best friends since about third grade. Crystal and I became friends when our parents got married and we moved into the Triway school district where I first met Jenny. She was my first best friend and then Heidi soon became my other best friend in 4th grade. And then Crystal and Jenny moved, so that forced April and I to be friends because she was best friends with Crystal. At first we tried not to be friends but we were in late bus together and we soon became bossom buddies! We all got together at April's house and had yummy food and reminisced about the old days! It had been seven years since we were all together!

Cousins In Missouri!

This is a picture of Dallin and Jillian with their cousins Abigale(left) and Olivia on the swing set at Papa and Meme's house in Pierce City Missouri. They have been getting a lot of rain so everything was really green, it was beautiful! Dallin, Meme, Melrose, John,(meme's parents), Abigale, Jillie, Olivia Aunt Crystal and cousin Hannah! Kids in the creek catching fish or anything! Kids walking home from the creek! It was so wonderful to be with my family. I hadn't see Crystal and Hannah in 4 years, so it was great to spend a couple of days with them!

Summer Vacation for 2008!

After two weeks of being in Missouri and then having my family here for a week, we are back to the same old same old everyday life. We really had a great time with our family. After I spent a week in Missouri visiting friends and family and going to my 10 year reunion, my Dad, Janet, Bob, Sasha, Abigale, and Olivia came here to stay with us for a week. We got to go to Disneyworld and Key West. Then the rest of the time we tried to relax at the beach. And we got to celebrate Jillian's birthday while everyone was here also! I have a lot of pictures to show everyone, but it will have to wait one more day. I have a class to teach tonight at church and I'm still preparing, so TTFN!

Jillie's First Makeover!

Well, not really a makeover, I just did her hair in sponge curlers. My mom found these somewhere and sent them to me to put in Jillie's hair. My mom use to put the same rollers in my hair when I was little...and I loved it. I put some foam in her hair and then spun the hair around the roller. Then she slept in them all night and they actually stayed in. This morning when I took them out (she didn't want me too) her hair was in the most cute perfect spiral curls. She had her two year old pictures made today with her curls.They turned out pretty good! She is all girl because she kept running her hand through her hair and turning her head from side to side and looking in the mirror admiring her new look!

Dallin's New Blanket!

Mom wonderful Mother did it again! She made Dallin and his alligator matching pillows and blankets! He loves them! In case you didn't notice his favorite color is green. He loves his green shoes, green towel, green cars, green alligator, green dinosaur, and anything else that is green! If he could be green he would be. He even has an imaginary friend that is green! Thanks Mom, you did a great job!
