Alissa's 28th Birthday Party!

On Thursday February 21st, we celebrated my birthday! I got to celebrate with Rich, Dallin, Jillie, Carol, Stacey, Laura B., Luara H., Lauren, and Matt! We went to Olive Garden for dinner (my favorite) then we went to Carol's house for cake and ice cream. When I got there Stacey and Matt had decorated the whole house with balloons and streamers. That was a big surprise! Then in the kitchen was the one thing I asked for a chocolate cake from TooJay's(a restuartant). It's called "The Killer" with four different kinds of chocolate! It was delicious! Dallin and Jillie helped me blow out my candles and then I got to open my gifts! It was the best birthday ever! My friends and family made it a very special day for me. Thank you!

Daddy's Day Off...Perfect Day for the Beach!

On Monday, Rich took the day off, so we went to the beach. It was a very hot day. It got up to 90...so it was perfect! Leanne and Dallin love to be chased by the incoming tide. Lucky for them someone had dug a big hole before we got there... so they would sit in it waiting for the water to fill it up and play in it before it would sink into the sand. And Jillie just chases the seagulls. She acts like the sand in her hand is food to try to get them to come closer. And Rich gets to relax, which is nice to see him do since he doesn't do that very often. My favorite part is to watch the kids get hammered by a wave... I know it sounds mean but it's so funny and they always get up and keep going. Sometimes they will run to back to us to see if we seen it. In the picture of Leanne she had just been tumbled like a tumble weed in the water...I think she was embarrassed she got wiped out!

Perfect Day for a Bike Ride!

On Saturday it was a beautiful warm day... so we went on a bike ride/walk/hike! Dallin and Leanne rode their bikes while I pushed Princess Jillian in the stroller! We have two little parks by our house. One is over grown...so Dallin and Leanne decided to go on hike to the water. Which was actually pretty brave considering all the creepy crawling things we have here. And the other park has bench to sit and enjoy the view of the water and the boats...so thats what they did for like two seconds and then they were off again. It was a great ride!

Our Little Miss Sweet Pea!

This last weekend, Jillian won 1st runner up in the "Treasure Coast Sweet Pea Pageant"! She was actually not feeling her best. She didn't get to take a regular nap, so when we went on stage she was a little shy. But she did smile and then put her finger in her nose! So she must be pretty darn cute to win 1st runner up after that.

Her favorite part was when she received the trophy. She was very happy. But she didn't get to hold it very long before Dallin got a hold of it.

We couldn't believe how big her trophy is. It's half her height, 17.5 inches. So it sits on our mantle for all to see.

Snow In Florida!

Every year Martin County Parks and Rec. have a Winter Festival. Each year it gets bigger and bigger. They serve hot coco and bring in snow. That's right they bring snow! Well, actually it's just ice thats been put into a giant ice shaver. They stack two square hay bales and spray the ice on top to make a hill for the kids to sled down. There were so many people there this year that they had to close the gate to let people in. And the line was longer than a football field and people waited for over two hours to slide down and they even wear gloves to make ice balls! It's CRAZY! These are the people who have never seen real snow! So this post in dedicated to all of you living in freezing cold weather right now. Isn't nice to know that you don't have to stand in line for two hours to see and feel snow!

It's Amazing!

It's amazing that I figured this out! I have three friends that have blogs and they are great, so I thought I would try. My goal is to keep my friends and family updated with us! But I have been wanting to do this for about a year now, so let's see how updated you stay! Today is Super Tuesday!! This a very exciting day for us. I'm sure most of you know we are supporting Mitt Romney!! Twenty two states are voting today so we should be close to finding out who the Republican Nominee will be. But today is also a stressful day. Dallin and Jillian are both sick with a bad stomach flu or something, so they are leaking out both ends!:( And I think I'm next!:(
