Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my 29th Birthday!
I woke up to the smell of bacon cooking. Rich and Dallin cooked blueberry pancakes, bacon, cheese eggs, and toast for me this morning! It was yummy and after being up most of the night with Jillian, who is sick, I went back to bed. While I was sleeping Rich cleaned the kitchen and bathroom and mopped the floors! So far it's been the best birthday!
My good friend Kelli had a birthday party for me last night with our friends. We each got to make our own personal pizza and then for dessert we had my favorite banana split and brownies!! We play apples to apples in between dinner and dessert. It was a fun night! Thank you Kelli!! And thanks Abby, Amanda, Jennifer, Cindy, Allyson, and Carol for coming!
Everyone has been very secretive around here so I have a feeling I will have more surprises tonight!

Family Pictures

Here are some of my favorite pictures!
"Book time" is the kids favorite part of the day. They each get to pick out books and daddy reads to them before bed!
Dallin and Jillie have been playing a lot outside and they actually have been getting along! This is a new game they discovered! They are riding on Dallin's skateboard up and down our driveway!

Weebles! Weebles! Weebles!!

Dallin is having a Walk-a-thon to raise money for Christian education at his school. So the kids get donations and they do a walk appropriate for their age. Dallin will be walking 1/2 mile! And they get rewards at school for how much money they raise. So like 1st -12th grade get a free day of no uniforms or a homework pass. Since Dallin's class doesn't wear uniforms or have real homework, they get WEEBLES! I know what you are all thinking "What is a weeble?"
Well, everyday for a week Dallin would come home and tell all about how "everyone is getting weebles besides me".
"They all brought a dollar in and got a weeble."
"I didn't get a weeble today because I didn't have a dollar."
All he talked about was these weebles, so I asked him what a weeble is and he said it is a furry little animal and really really wanted one! So I asked his teach about it and she told me about the rewards for the walk-a-thon. I thought you had to bring the money to the walk but you can bring the money in anytime to get your reward. One dollar is one weeble. Twenty dollars is five weebles and one hundred dollars is 10 weebles!
So the next day, I gave him a dollar so he could get his weeble and hear it is... drum roll please...
It is a yellow cotton ball with eyes and antennas!!!!
Dallin and his new weeble, Weeble! (dallin now has freckles)
His teacher told me that the kids want these so bad, that a mom came in with her checkbook. She wanted to know how much one of each would cost so she could get them all for her son!
CRAZY!

Dallin's 1st Field Trip!

On January 29th Dallin's Class went to Pizza Hut for a field trip. I volunteered to be a driver so Dallin and his new friend Zachary got to ride in our car. Dallin thought it was really cool that it was just him and his friend without Jillian. Their conversation was so cute and funny. When we got to Pizza Hut the kids got to go into the kitchen to make their own pizza. They got a personal pan with sauce on the dough and then they got to put whatever toppings they wanted. Dallin put cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. Then they put it into the oven and after that they each got to eat their very own pizza! They all loved it.
